Featuring the same weather resistant polymer furniture, polished flat lifter and a tuned gas system for optimal performance with mainly heavy loads but is also versatile enough to shoot 1oz loads.* This gun is the one you want for any field scenario. Picture yourself in a field, surrounded by wonderful, beautiful, tasty birds and you in that field holding a S12 Field; fast forward a bit and picture yourself with a cheesy smile and a truck bed full of birds with smoke still coming out of the barrel on your S12 Field. That is what this gun is made for.* We hate asterisks as much as you do. We formally recommend 1 1/8oz loads as our lightest load to function but after break in, we have run thousands of 1oz rounds through these guns. Your preferred brand may be different and we do not guarantee 1oz performance.
